Electronic TYFON® ETD 100/350 and ETD 100 with trio tone |
 | High-power electronically driven whistles. The ETD 100/350 is for vessels shorter than 75 m. The rectangular shape of the horn will distribute the sound wave horizontally. This special design reduces the noise on deck by 6-8 dB compared to a conventional whistle. When a combined system is required, an airdriven TYFON® for 260 or 440 Hz can be an excellent part of the system. |
| The ETD 100 with trio tone (196-220-247 Hz) is used for River Signalling. Then the signal controller TI70 is necessary. The ETD 100/- is equipped with a heating element controlled by a thermostat that switches on at temperature below +10°C (18F). |
