The viewing problem:
Ships continue to get larger, resulting in an increasing number of viewing problems. Anything immediately in front of the bow is often invisible. Also, you often have no view or a poor view of the gangways and have no check on the engine room. So effective action, for example in the case of a fire in the engine room, is not possible.
The solution:
We can offer you watertight cameras with specific viewing angles for each object. A lift and turn unit with a zoom camera will be mounted on the bow of the ship. On the bridge the captain can follow everything on a built-in monitor. By means of joysticks he can turn the various cameras and zoom them in and out, allowing him to work more efficiently and safely. The Orlaco camera is waterproof and is provided with a heated lens glass so that it will function in all weather conditions. The hardened lens glasses ensure that the glass remains scratch-free.
