Corrosion Monitor – CM-2

The Corrosion Monitor CM-2 provides boat owners with continuous insight into the condition of their vessel’s underwater metal parts. It allows you to know at all times whether corrosion is under control, ensuring maximum protection and peace of mind. CM2

The system includes a silver–silver chloride reference electrode with a 2,5-inch diameter screen, supported and electrically insulated from the hull by a black plastic housing. Together with a precision meter that measures the electrical potential between the electrode and the underwater appendages, the system provides accurate, real-time monitoring of galvanic corrosion levels.

Easy Installation

Installation is simple and efficient. Mount the display at the helm or dashboard, at least three feet away from the magnetic compass and away from direct water spray. Only two wire connections are required. One to the reference electrode and one to the hull fittings.

To install the reference electrode, drill a ½-inch clearance hole through the hull from inside the bilge. Then, follow the seven straightforward steps outlined in the Owner’s Manual (P/N 50186).
