KTV 75/400 Air whistle, suitable for vessels with a LOA up to 20m.
General Information
The KTV 75/400 signaling apparatus is lightweight, durable, and powerful, making it ideal for (Inland) ships. The KT 75/400 can be used for various applications, including, industrial settings, military use, and heavy vehicles. It is made from high-impact, vibration-resistant plastic resin, with some parts reinforced by glass fiber for extra strength. The design is entirely maintenance-free, and the diaphragm never wears out, ensuring long-lasting reliability.
Mounting and Installation
The valve comes equipped with a filter and complete fittings for both plastic tubing on the outlet side and copper piping (O.D. 8mm or 0.3”) on the inlet side. For optimal performance, avoid outdoor placement unless protected by a cover. Additionally, the short connection between the valve and the signal apparatus should be made from flexible material, such as rubber hose or plastic tubing, for improved durability.
For distinct code signals, keep the pipeline between the whistle and the valve under 6 meters. If placed outdoors, always protect the valve with a cover to prevent exposure to harsh elements. Before connecting the signal apparatus or valve, thoroughly blow the pipe line clean using compressed air to avoid any blockages.
